• Government-issued ID and background check consent (for worker verification)
• Profile photos and any other information you choose to provide

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Zuploy platform, we automatically collect:

• Device information (type, operating system, browser)
• IP address and approximate location
• GPS coordinates, WiFi BSSID, and Bluetooth beacon data during geofenced clock-in and clock-out (workers only, at shift venues)
• Usage data — pages viewed, features used, time spent on platform
• Log data — access times, error reports, performance data

1.3 Information from Third Parties

• Background check results from Checkr, Inc.
• Payment processing data from Stripe, Inc.
• Identity verification data from authorised verification providers
• Certification verification data from issuing authorities

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your Zuploy account
• Match workers with shifts using our ZRA-v1 reliability algorithm
• Verify worker identity, certifications, and physical presence at shift venues
• Process payments and payouts through Stripe
• Send shift notifications, cascade alerts, and platform communications via SMS and email
• Calculate and apply platform fees, loyalty pricing, and volume tiers
• Improve our matching algorithms and platform features
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service
• Prevent fraud, abuse, and off-platform gaming of our cascade system

3. How We Share Your Information

We share your information only in the following circumstances:

3.1 Between Platform Users

When a business posts a shift and a worker applies or is matched, we share limited profile information — including name, ZRA score, badge tier, ratings, and certifications — to facilitate the shift. We do not share full contact details until a shift is confirmed.

3.2 Service Providers

We share data with trusted service providers who help us operate the platform:

• Stripe, Inc. — payment processing and instant payouts
• Checkr, Inc. — background check processing
• Twilio, Inc. — SMS and messaging services
• Amazon Web Services — cloud infrastructure and data storage
• Auth0 — authentication and identity management

All service providers are bound by data processing agreements and may not use your data for their own purposes.

3.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of Zuploy, our users, or the public.

3.4 Business Transfers

If Zuploy is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

4. Geolocation and Clock-In Data

Zuploy uses a three-factor geofenced clock-in system (GPS, WiFi BSSID, and Bluetooth beacon) to verify that workers are physically present at a shift venue. This data is collected only during active shifts, is used solely for verification purposes, and is not used for tracking workers outside of shift hours. Location data is stored for up to 24 months for dispute resolution purposes.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

• Keep you signed in to your account
• Remember your preferences and settings
• Understand how you use the platform (analytics)
• Improve platform performance and reliability

You can control cookie settings through your browser. Disabling cookies may affect some platform functionality. We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you close your account, we retain your data for up to 3 years for legal, dispute resolution, and fraud prevention purposes. Background check results are retained as required by applicable law.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Correction — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
• Deletion — request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal obligations
• Portability — request your data in a portable format

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong password and notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

9. Children's Privacy

Zuploy is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a minor has provided personal information, we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through a prominent notice on the platform at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of Zuploy after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
